Dear Members & Friends,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 83rd EAS Congress to be held in Glasgow, UK, March 22-25, 2015.

The congress is hosted by the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) in partnership with the British Atherosclerosis Society.

The Congress committees have been working hard to prepare a program that will excite, inspire and inform. The congenial atmosphere of the Congress and its setting provide a unique meeting place for interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and effective networking. The planned state-of-the-art plenary sessions and workshops focus on emerging hot topics, and we invite you to submit abstracts of your latest work to be presented orally or as posters. There is also the opportunity to enter the competition for best poster.

The congress will be held in the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) located on the riverside. Glasgow, one of Europe’s most vibrant and cosmopolitan cities extends a friendly welcome to all.

Another highlight, of course, is superb Scottish food and drink that will be featured in the convivial Social Program and throughout the meeting. Finally, for those with a few days to spare, there are many recreational pursuits for you to enjoy before and after the Congress.
