9th International Workshop on Interventional Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiology

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

it is my pleasure to announce the 9th edition of the IPC Workshop, that will take place in Milan, Milan Marriott Hotel, from March 20 to March 22.
The aim of the meeting has always been to give participants an update on the most important and innovative interventional procedures for the treatment of congenital and structural heart disease from foetus to adulthood.

Moreover, after the success of the previous events of the working group on “Grown-up Congenital Heart Disease” of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC-WG GUCH) it is our great pleasure and honour to also invite you to the 4th European Meeting on “Adult Congenital Heart Disease” which is going to be held in Milan, on March 22nd – 23rd, 2013, which will be held together with the IPC Workshop on the first day.

We are working on a meeting focusing on the burning problems of both Interventional and General issues of this increasing population of patients.
The course is given for those who would like to update their knowledge about adult congenital cardiac disease, as well as for those who would like to get a first overview about this exciting and evolving subspecialty in cardiology.

AEPC will organize lunch sessions specifically dedicated to a limited number of young investigators during the three days of the workshop and 4th European Meeting, to provide an additional occasion for education.
Our Faculty will be as usual well known and international in order to guarantee a top-level scientific programme: lectures, lunch symposia, interactive sessions, satellite transmissions of live cases from all over Europe.

An all-time going technical exhibition will complete the panorama and provide for all participants occasions for a direct contact with the companies producing our everyday tools.
We believe the course will be attractive not only for adult or paediatric cardiologists and surgeons, but also for cardiac anesthesiologists, intensivists, neonatologists, pathologists, nurse specialists.
In the evening, you will also enjoy Milan and its lifestyle of worldly pleasures: a paradise for shopping, football, opera, and nightlife.
